Personal Auto Insurance | Fase Insurance Group
Personal Auto Insurance in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee
Since 2010, Fase Insurance Group has been helping drivers find auto insurance that actually makes sense for their life — their vehicle, their budget, and their situation. We started in Clayton County and have grown to serve families and individuals across Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. We have four offices, a bilingual team, and access to multiple top-rated carriers, which means we shop on your behalf instead of locking you into a single option.
Whether you are insuring your first car, adding a driver to your household, or just tired of overpaying, we will find you the right coverage and make sure you understand exactly what you are getting before you sign anything.
What Georgia Law Requires
Georgia is an at-fault state, which means if you cause an accident, you are financially responsible for the other party’s damages. State law requires every driver to carry a minimum of $25,000 in bodily injury liability per person, $50,000 per accident, and $25,000 in property damage — often written as 25/50/25.
That minimum satisfies the legal requirement, but it is worth understanding what it actually covers. Medical bills from a serious accident can exceed those limits quickly, especially when more than one person is injured. At Fase, we do not just sell you the minimum and move on — we walk you through your options so you can make an informed decision about how much protection you actually need.
Coverage Options We Offer
Liability Coverage — The legal minimum every Georgia and South Carolina driver must carry. Covers bodily injury and property damage you cause to others in an at-fault accident. It does not cover your own vehicle or your own medical expenses.
Collision and Comprehensive Coverage — Many clients ask about “full coverage,” a common term that typically refers to a combination of collision and comprehensive coverage added on top of liability. It is worth knowing that “full coverage” is not an insurance term — no policy is truly all-inclusive. What most people mean is a policy that includes liability plus collision and comprehensive. Collision covers damage to your vehicle from an accident regardless of fault. Comprehensive covers non-collision events such as theft, vandalism, hail, flooding, and fire. If your vehicle is financed or leased, your lender will typically require both. We will always explain exactly what your policy covers so there are no surprises when it matters most.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage — Georgia does not legally require this coverage, but given how many drivers on the road carry only the minimum — or nothing at all — it is one of the most important additions you can make to your policy. If someone hits you and does not have enough coverage to pay for your damages, this steps in.
Medical Payments Coverage — Helps cover medical expenses for you and your passengers after a covered accident, regardless of who was at fault.
We Work with All Types of Drivers
If you have had accidents, violations, or gaps in your coverage history, we can still help. We work with non-standard carriers that specialize in exactly these situations. If you have been turned away elsewhere or feel like you are paying too much for what you have, give us a call — we will look at your options honestly and find what works. If your license has been suspended and you need an SR-22 to get back on the road, we handle that as well.
Using Your Vehicle for Work?
A personal auto policy only covers personal use. If you are using your vehicle to haul equipment, transport clients, or run your business, a personal policy will not protect you in the event of an accident on the job. Visit our Commercial Auto page to learn about coverage built for work vehicles.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum car insurance required in Georgia?
Georgia requires all drivers to carry liability coverage of at least $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident, and $25,000 in property damage — known as 25/50/25. Driving without insurance can result in fines, registration suspension, and other penalties.
Do I need full coverage?
There is no insurance policy officially called “full coverage.” What most people are referring to is a combination of liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage. Whether that combination makes sense for you depends on your vehicle, your lender requirements, and your personal situation. We will walk you through it so you can decide with confidence.
Can I get insured if I have a prior accident or violation?
Yes. We work with carriers that specialize in non-standard coverage. A prior accident or violation does not automatically disqualify you. Call us and we will look at what is available for your specific situation.
Do you serve clients in Alabama and Tennessee?
Yes. We are licensed in both states and serve clients there entirely by phone. Call us at 770-960-8803 and we will take care of everything remotely.
Can I handle everything by phone?
Yes. Many of our clients never come into an office. We can quote, bind, and service your policy entirely by phone.
Auto insurance coverage terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits vary by carrier and policy. All coverage is subject to the terms of the applicable insurance policy. Georgia and South Carolina law require all drivers to carry minimum liability coverage.
