Our Story

Fase Insurance Group was founded by brothers Felipe and Juan Contreras — two children of Hispanic immigrants who grew up understanding firsthand the challenges our community faces when navigating the American system. Language barriers, unfamiliar processes, a lack of trusted resources — these were not abstract problems for us. They were our reality.

That experience is what drove us to build something different. Not just an insurance agency, but a place where members of our community could walk in, be heard in their own language, and leave with real answers and real protection.

Our Roots

Our story in this community goes back to 2001, when Carrera Hispanic Services was established — laying the foundation of trust and service that would eventually become Fase Insurance Group. In 2010, Felipe and Juan formalized that mission by opening Fase Insurance Group in Jonesboro, Georgia. What started as a single office has grown into four locations across two states, serving thousands of families and small businesses across Georgia and South Carolina.

Who We Are

Fase Insurance Group is a family-owned, independent insurance agency and tax preparation firm. We are licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and Tennessee. Our licensed agents — Felipe Contreras (GA License #2740079) and Juan Contreras (GA License #863592) — lead a bilingual team that is deeply connected to the communities we serve.

We are not a call center. We are not a faceless corporation. We are neighbors, and we treat every client like one.

Our Mission

Our mission has never changed: to be a helping hand and a fountain of information for our community. To make quality insurance, tax preparation, and business services accessible to everyone — regardless of immigration status, license type, or background. To be the kind of agency we wished had existed when we were growing up.

We serve undocumented clients, DACA recipients, ITIN holders, and those who have obtained legal status. We accept international driver’s licenses, matrícula consular, passports, and all valid forms of identification. If you need help, we will find a way to help you.

What We Offer

Beyond insurance, we help our clients with tax preparation, corporation and LLC formation, bookkeeping, and international driver’s licenses — because we understand that the needs of our community go beyond a single service. We want to be the agency you call first, for whatever you need.

Walk-ins are always welcome. Everything can also be handled over the phone. We are here Monday through Saturday at most locations.
